Helen Hunt took to Twitter to
share the tale of a Starbucks barista getting her Hollywood stars mixed up.
The As Good as it Gets star was mistaken for another Academy Award-winner, Jodie
Foster. It was not a good day for the Starbucks employee, who also
misspelled the name and marked the cup "Jody".
"Ordered my drink @Starbucks Asked the barista if she
wanted my name. She winked and said. 'We gotcha' #JodieFoster," the
52-year-old star tweeted.
Hunt's post about the case of mistaken identity got
thousands of likes and retweets. Although it's hard to see much resemblance
between the two stars, this is not the first time they've been mixed up.
In an
interview to David Letterman in 1994, the Twister actress revealed that a
supermarket clerk had her mistaken for Foster, and that she had to show him her
ID to convince him she wasn't lying. Helen
Hunt's career has been relatively quiet in recent years. She has not been on
screen since 2014 when she appeared alongside Luke Wilson in
Ride. She will soon be seen in the upcoming TV series Shots Fired.
Jodie
Foster on the other hand has just released her new film Money Monster, which
was screened out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival.
Starbucks
misspelling of customers' names is quite a common occurrence, so much so that
there is a Tumblr page dedicated to it.
